The 51-year-old This Morning presenter is riding on a high after shedding a huge amount of weight.

Fern unveiled her slim-downed figure at the Woman Of The Year Awards in London.

The mum-of-four is thought to have lost around six stone, thinning down to a size 14.

Fern's weight loss caused a fair amount of controversy this summer when it was revealed she'd had a gastric band fitted in her stomach in 2006 - so her weight loss was in part due to this, rather than just diet and exercise, as her fans felt they had been led to believe.

However, the bubbly blonde is sitting pretty now, on the back of her startling bod transformation.

"She was easily one of the most striking women in the room. No one could take their eyes off her," a bystander at the Woman Of The Year bash told the Mirror.

"She looked smart, sexy and slender. And she definitely knew it. Good for her."
